If you have been an EE user and are quiet dissatisfied with the services, EE customer care helpline can help you. There might be a situation when cancelling your contract seems to be the last resolution. Cancelling your contract with EE might seem to be a tedious and complicated process but this can be resolved easily with the EE customer care helpline.

Cancellation Policies

From helping you in signing a new account to cancelling an already existing account, we, at EE customer care helpline, are here to assist you in every possible way.If you have been an EE user but would like to discontinue our association, simply call EE customer care helpline to know the steps to cancel the EE contract.

User for less than 14 days

The process is simple if you have just started using our services and the period has not exceeded 14 days.

  • Purchase from store

If you associated with us through a retail outlet but are not satisfied with the services due to reasons like network coverage, you may return the purchase to any of the EE retail stores. The return would include your purchase receipt, the phone/device you purchased (make sure it is complete and in as new condition), inclusive in-box accessories (including the charger) and free or promotional items (if any). In case the reason is a change of mind, EE will not cancel the contract.

  • Purchase through web/phone

If you have made a purchase through web or phone, simply fill the cancellation form available on the website and email it to us. The cancellation team will get back to you once your form is received with the further steps.

You may also take the print out of the form, fill it and send it by post to the cancellation team. On receiving your post, the EE customer care team will get in touch with you to confirm your request and process it further.

User for more than 14 days

If you have used our services for more than 14 days but wish to discontinue the same, you may contact the EE customer care for the same.

There are a few things that a user must remember in such cases:

  • The contract does not terminate automatically at the end of 14 days. You need to contact the EE customer care for the same.
  • EE customer care will take a minimum of 30 days to discontinue the contract. You will be billed until the end of the minimum term or the end of 30 days whichever is later.
  • Make sure to call the EE customer care number at least 30 days in advance if you want to pay up to the end of the minimum term. However, this does not confirm the limit to which we can pre-date the cancellations.
  • It is mandatory to complete the minimum contract term to avoid any Early Termination Charges on top of the Notice Period Charge.
  • EE will charge you for a period of 30 days that will be counted from the date of your request to cancel.
  • To use the same number with your new provider, you will need a PAC code provided by EE. This code is valid for 30 days. In case you don’t use it, your contract with EE will continue to run.

Cancellation via phone

Simply call EE customer care and file a cancellation request. Please remember the following while doing the same:

  • Share your updated address and email id to receive the final bill. Let the EE customer care representative know if you have any additional devices.
  • In case, you have already filed a request for contract cancellation, do not make another request as the same won’t be processed. Either wait for it to be processed or cancel it to make another.
  • Cancel any other request you have previously filed with the EE customer care. This can include requests for add-on bundles, new SIM requests, migration, etc.
  • In case you wish to cancel one of the plans on your 4GEE shared plan, remember that this might impact the pricing of your other plans.
  • If your cancellation request is for the number that is part of a Group/Talk-Share, it will be disbanded.

Cancellation via email

If you plan to contact us via email, please remember the following important things:

  • The cancellation request will be dated according to the day we receive and process your cancellation letter. It won’t be the same as the date on the letter.
  • You should be within the minimum term i.e. 45 days to cancel the contract. Your application will not be processed if you don’t meet the criteria.
  • Once your request has been processed, you will receive a text message and a confirmation letter mentioning the details of the date your contract ends.

Home Broadband, Home Phone and EE TV

Discontinuing Home Broadband, Home Phone and EE TV services can be done with a simple call at EE customer care helpline. The customer care representative will let you know how to further process the return of the equipment. Make sure that you return the EE TV within 30 days or else you will be charged for the same on your final bill.

In case you are planning to discontinue the broadband service, you can either keep the router with you or recycle at your local waste management facility. The same can also be returned to our distribution warehouse.
